A Different Way to Think About Money

If you’re here, you’re probably looking for something different.

Not another budgeting hack.
Not another “get rich quick” strategy.
And hopefully—not another message that reduces your financial life to a single percentage or a guilt-driven obligation.

Stewardship180 was created to offer a complete shift in perspective—a 180-degree turn—from how we typically think about money.

What You Can Expect Here

This blog will be a space for devotional-style reflections centered on one core idea:

Money is not something we own—it’s something we steward.

That may sound simple, but it changes everything.

In future posts, we’ll explore topics like:

  • How our hearts shape our financial decisions far more than our income does

  • The quiet dangers of comparison, consumption, and control

  • What generosity really looks like beyond a number or obligation

  • How Scripture reframes success, security, and contentment

  • Practical ways to align your daily financial habits with God’s design

This isn’t about behavior modification alone—it’s about heart transformation that leads to different behavior over time.

Who This Is For

This space is for the everyday individual or family.

You don’t need to be wealthy.
You don’t need to be struggling.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.

If you’ve ever:

  • Felt stuck in cycles of debt or financial stress

  • Compared your situation to others and felt like you were behind

  • Wondered if there’s a more meaningful way to handle money

  • Wanted to grow in generosity but didn’t know where to start

Then you’re in the right place.

This isn’t just for extreme situations—it’s for real life.

What This Is Not

Let’s clear something up right away.

This is not:

  • A “money grab” disguised as ministry

  • A platform to pressure you into giving a certain percentage

  • A place where financial success is equated with spiritual success

Yes, we will talk about giving.
Yes, we will talk about generosity.
But always through the lens of the heart, not obligation.

Biblical stewardship is far deeper than a transaction—it’s about trust, surrender, and alignment with God’s purposes.

A Quick Introduction

My name is Hank, and I’m a Certified Christian Financial Counselor.

But more importantly, I’ve lived this.

I’ve made poor financial decisions.
I’ve been caught in cycles of debt.
I’ve chased the idea of ownership—believing more was the answer.
I’ve compared myself to others and let that shape my choices.
And in those seasons, generosity was often the first thing to disappear.

Something had to change.

Through Scripture and intentional reflection, I began to see money differently—not as something I controlled, but something entrusted to me.

That shift didn’t happen overnight, but it changed:

  • How I think

  • How I spend

  • How I give

  • How I live

And that’s what this platform is built on.

About Products and Counseling

You’ll notice that Stewardship180 offers digital resources and financial counseling.

That’s intentional—and transparent.

These tools exist to serve you, not to profit off of faith.

Creating helpful, thoughtful, and biblically grounded resources takes time and effort, and offering them allows me to continue building content that is practical, accessible, and sustainable.

There is no pressure here—only opportunity.

Whether you engage with free content, purchase a resource, or seek counseling, the goal remains the same:

To help you grow into a faithful steward of what God has entrusted to you.

The Journey Ahead

This is just the beginning.

If you choose to follow along, you can expect honest conversations, Scripture-centered insights, and practical encouragement as we explore what it really means to live as a steward—not an owner.

A 180-degree shift may feel uncomfortable at first.

But it’s often exactly what we need.

Thanks for being here.
